RACE RULES

- approved pfd must be worn correctly, with a whistle attached
- leg or body leash worn
- 1 x communication device must be carried (epirb, phone, vhf marine radio)
- 1 x signalling flare must be carried - smoke is best in daytime or safety mirror
- paddlers must assist other paddlers in a safety situation
